Everyone Hacks Prize: Ticket to Renaissance iOS App Makers’ Conference

Posted on Dec 28, 2012 in Conferences, Events

The lovely folk at Renaissance iOS have donated a ticket to their conference as a prize for the Everyone Hacks participant that has the most potential. This is the award for the person who shows the most promise, rather than the most existing expertise. The iOS conference starts the day after Everyone Hacks (instant gratification).

Minds Coming Together
The Renaissance iOS App Makers’ Conference is a three day juggernaut conference of the best minds in the iOS app world collaborating, learning, and generally being awesome. Taking place January 21-23 2013, the core tenet of the conference is about making something bigger than code, while coming together as a community to push forward the business, design, and technology of apps.

Who Done It?
Renaissance is produced by the people who created the Silicon Valley iOS Developers’ Meetup, which has grown into the largest monthly gathering of iOS developers anywhere. Due to the insane popularity of this meetup (routinely going over capacity), Renaissance was born as the conference to bring new ideas and ask questions of subject matter experts.

Three Days of Essentials
The conference is organized into three themes, known simply as the essentials. They constructed this educational framework by making a list of the most important things for iOS app makers to know, and then found the best people in the business to participate as keynote and session speakers. The UCSF Mission Bay Conference Center is a 600-person auditorium just south of AT&T Park and China Basin. Come by car and park in the on-campus garage or take the short walk from Caltrain at 4th and King. Reserve a room InterContinental San Francisco.
