New Addition to the GWOB Team: Sam Menza!

Posted on Jun 19, 2013 in Get to Know

My name’s Sam Menza, and I love technology, startups, learning new skills, and (more recently) tinkering with electronics.  Right now I’m studying to be electrical engineer at the University of Connecticut, though my hometown is Basking Ridge, NJ.  When I’m not working on my latest circuit assignment, I really enjoy reading (sci-fi and eastern philosophy currently), jogging, or exploring the bounds of my soldering gun.  I also love exploring new places, and meeting new people.  On campus I’m part of TedxUConn, a group in charge of organizing a small Ted conference at our Storrs campus this coming September (and perhaps more in the semesters beyond).  Ted is an organization that holds conferences with passionate people giving talks about the things they have done to change themselves, and the world around them.

I believe there is so much untapped potential in the field of technology.  The things one person can create or have an impact on are so much bigger than most realize.  To take this potential and use it to serve others is so admirable.  Thanks for letting me on the team.  Look forward to learning, assisting, and helping out here at GWOB!
