The BrainMeats! Podcast archive has been offline for over a year, and no new episodes came out after April of 2013. But this year, with the help of a grant from the US State Department through the US Consulate to Kolkata, India we’ve been able to bring the podcast back to life. With the support of the grant, we recorded several new episodes about Gender Based Violence, violence prevention, and building open source technology for humanitarian purposes. We’ve also set up a new account at Podbean to replace the old self-managed server where the podcast resided before.
Today we posted the last of the archival episodes, and the first new episode will be published this Wednesday.
Much of that old content is just as fresh today is it was when it was recorded, and some of it gives some interesting perspective into how far we’ve come in the last few years.
